That's how my parents Domènec Polo and Antonia Sierras, appeared in this neighborhood, half Barcelonian and half Adrianense.

From here they instilled in their children the world of restoration.

This bar, with the new redevelopment of the neighborhood changed location in 2001.

 

Thanks to the help I've had from my brothers, during these 25 years we have continued the legacy that our parents left us and we continued in this fabulous world of restaurants, making the new establishment that together we create became a reality.

My brothers Leo, Mari Carmen and I made ​​possible that the new Restaurant JUNCA, it has become a reality.

From here I want to thank them the involvement and dedication to this project and thank them for always stay by my side at all the time.

 

 

Someone will wonder why the name JUNCA.

This isn't a name lightly invented, this name comes from my grandparents, by my mother's side.

They had a leather factory in the neighborhood of Pueblo Nuevo of Barcelona called "Pelleteria JUNCA".

So as you can see, this is also a tribute to my grandparents, that sure, they also put a bit into this restaurant.

 

 

Finally, all of this wouldn't be possible, even with the help of my brothers, parents and relatives, without the people that are more near to me and have been my daily support.

These people have been suffered and felt the same as me.

 

From here I want to thank my daughters (Jessica and Jeni) and especially my wife Cati their support and involvement in this business that we have undertaken together.
